“Literacy Elves” provide crucial support to our reading clinics.

Have you ever sought a volunteer opportunity with Children Rising , but cannot commit to being a reading or math tutor? Then we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you.

Succeeding by Reading is seeking a few good Literacy Elves for summer volunteer service. Literacy Elves provide crucial support to our reading clinics by cleaning, checking, repairing, and organizing literacy materials used during the school year. Our trained literacy tutors depend on these materials as they equip elementary school students to become fluent readers.

Dates: Tuesday through Friday, June 11-28.
Time: 10:00am to 1:00pm
Delicious and healthy snacks provided!
