Cancelled – Partner Event

“The Project Peace staff and board have decided to cancel the Day of Service on March 21st.

We based this tough decision on the recommendation of the Alameda County Public Health Department, school districts we partner with, and local congregations that are canceling events with more than 20 people.

It was a difficult decision to make, but one we feel is in the best interest of public health, particularly as it relates to the most vulnerable among us.

We are in the process of communicating this decision to all involved with the Day of Service process. Our hope is that volunteers will consider registering with us for our May 30th Day of Service as an alternative.

Those who have already registered will get an email tomorrow with a link to register for the May 30th Day of Service.

WHAT IS A DAY OF SERVICE?

Get your hands dirty with us for three hours on a Saturday morning! We’ll tackle the needs of your neighborhood school or nonprofit, landscaping a garden or painting a wall with your family and friends.
