Abraham Wordsworth

Abraham joined the Children Rising board in 2022, inspired to give back due to his personal experience in the Succeeding by Reading program. After immigrating to the Bay Area from war-torn Liberia at the age of six in 2003, he soon fell under the tutelage of Randy Roth. He is a civil war survivor, a believer, and someone who has seen the transformative power of attention, love, and care. He dreams of giving other children the chance he had. “If every kid had access to that, the world would be a much better place.”

Abraham used his experience with Children Rising as a springboard to success. He currently serves as an energetic, innovative, and work-driven Account Executive for Glow.

You can catch Abraham cheering on the Warriors when he’s not in the office. Additionally, he’s an avid runner and stimulates his soul through hiking, meditation, and yoga.
