As a Path to Math Clinic Coordinator, Steven supports and schedules teachers, volunteer tutors, and parents to guide underperforming students to proficiency in foundational math skills.

His 14+ years as a small business owner has sharpened his leadership abilities, and over 30 years of servicing in the nonprofit sector has softened his heart. He believes that every ‘at-risk’ child becomes an ‘at-promise’ child when connected with a caring and committed community.

Steven’s care and concern for children may be a result of not having grandchildren of his own. A fact which he and his wife of 38 years remind their adult children of every chance they get.
